Custom Tile Shower Installation in Greensboro & the Triad
Real tile. Real structure. Built for decades.
At Floors ‘N More, I specialize in custom tile shower installation throughout Greensboro and the Triad. From complete tear-outs down to the studs to rebuilding strong, properly waterproofed shower systems from the ground up, every project is built for durability, clean lines, and long-term performance. I focus on proper prep work, solid framing, quality waterproofing methods, and precise tile installation so homeowners can enjoy a shower that not only looks beautiful-but is built to last.
A good tile shower is about a lot more than what you see when it’s finished. What’s behind the tile is just as important. I take the time to make sure the shower is properly prepared, the pan is built with the right slope, and everything is waterproofed before the tile goes up. Once it’s covered with tile you can’t see any of that work anymore, but it’s what makes the difference between a shower that lasts and one that causes problems later.
Built Right From the Start
Every tile shower I build is a little different. Depending on the space and what you want out of the shower, we can incorporate things like niches, benches, different tile sizes and layouts, mosaic tile in the shower, and different trim and fixture options. Some showers are simple and straightforward, while others have a lot more detail. The goal is to make those choices work together and build a shower that fits the bathroom and the way you’ll actually use it.
Custom Shower Options & Details
Owner Operated From Start to Finish
When you hire Floors ‘N More, you’re dealing directly with me from the estimate through the finished job. I’m the owner, and I’m also the one doing the work. I don’t send a crew out after the job is sold. That means I’m there throughout the project and personally responsible for the quality of the work from start to finish
How long does it take to build a custom tile shower?
Every shower is different, but custom tile showers take multiple days to complete. The size of the shower, layout, tile selection, niches, benches, and other details can all affect how long the project takes.
What goes behind the tile in a shower?
The work behind the tile is a big part of what determines how well a shower holds up. Proper preparation, a correctly built shower pan and waterproofing all need to be taken care of before the tile goes up.
Do I need to buy the tile before contacting you?
No. You don’t need to have everything picked out before contacting me. We can discuss the shower and what you’re looking for first, and I can help you understand what materials you’ll need for the project.
Can you build a tile shower where my bathtub is now?
Yes. In many bathrooms, an existing tub can be removed and the space converted into a custom tile shower. The exact layout and what can be done will depend on the existing plumbing, framing and available space.
What areas do you install tile showers in?
I install custom tile showers in Greensboro, Browns Summit and surrounding areas throughout the Triad.
