Flooring Installation
in Greensboro & the Triad

Luxury Vinyl Plank • Laminate • Hardwood

Professional installation for the rooms you live in every day.

More Than Just a New Floor

A good flooring installation involves more than laying down new material. Proper floor preparation, careful layout, and clean transitions between rooms all contribute to how your floor looks, feels, and performs over time.

Before installation begins, I'll take a look at your existing floor and subfloor, discuss any concerns, and make sure the new flooring is suited to the space.

LVP, Laminate & Hardwood

Your flooring choice should fit the room, the way you use it, and the look you want. Floors ’N More provides installation for all three of these flooring options.

Luxury Vinyl Plank

Looking for LVP or vinyl plank flooring installation? I install luxury vinyl plank in living spaces, kitchens, and other rooms where the selected product is suitable. Wood-look colors and plank styles offer plenty of ways to update a space.

The product’s room suitability and preparation requirements matter. We’ll discuss the flooring you’re considering and what the installation will involve.

Laminate Flooring

Laminate can bring a wood-look finish to a single room or a larger flooring update. Careful layout helps the floor flow through the space, with attention to edges, doorways, and transitions.

If you’re considering a water-resistant or waterproof laminate product, its specific requirements still need to be checked for the room and conditions.

Hardwood Flooring

Hardwood flooring installation is also available. The character of real wood can give a room a warm, distinctive finish.

We’ll review the flooring selected, the existing floor, and the project details before confirming the installation scope. Preparation and room conditions are part of that conversation.

A Good Floor Starts Before the First Board

The surface underneath new flooring needs to be suitable for the product being installed. Existing flooring, uneven areas, doorway clearances, and transitions all deserve attention before installation begins.

We’ll discuss removal of the old flooring where needed, appropriate preparation, and the details that affect the finished result. If underlying floor or subfloor damage is discovered during the work, I’ll discuss necessary repairs with you before additional work is carried out.

Thoughtful layout matters too. Planning the direction and placement of the flooring helps the finished floor make sense across the room and into adjoining spaces.

Floors for Everyday Living

Room size, natural light, plank color, and the adjoining spaces all influence the finished look. These real Floors ’N More projects show a range of flooring styles across bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.

What to Expect from Your Flooring Project

Meet, measure, and discuss. I look at your existing flooring, take measurements, and discuss the rooms you want to update and the flooring you have in mind.

Review the estimate and scope. You receive an estimate based on the work discussed. Once you decide to move forward, we confirm the project details and arrange scheduling.

Prepare and install. Agreed-upon removal and preparation come before the new flooring. Layout, edges, doorways, and transitions receive attention as the installation progresses.

Bring the rooms together. The agreed-upon finishing details complete the installation so the new flooring fits naturally into your home.

Flooring Installation Questions

What types of flooring do you install?

Floors ’N More installs luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and hardwood flooring. We also install all types of tile, including porcelain, ceramic, marble, natural stone, slate, glass, and mosaics. Explore our tile installation work on the Tile Floors page.

How do I choose between LVP, laminate, and hardwood?

Consider the room, moisture exposure, daily use, maintenance, and the look you want. Each product has its own suitability and installation requirements. We can discuss your flooring ideas during the visit and review what the selected product requires.

Does the old flooring need to be removed?

That depends on the existing flooring, its condition, height changes, and the requirements of the new product. I’ll assess the floor during the visit so the estimate can account for removal and preparation where needed.

Can new flooring go in a kitchen or bathroom?

The selected product needs to be appropriate for the room and its conditions. A waterproof label does not remove the need to follow the product’s installation requirements or address existing moisture problems. We’ll review suitability as part of planning the project.

Can you install flooring through several connected rooms?

Yes. We can discuss a single-room update or flooring across connected spaces. Doorways, transitions, changes in floor height, and the selected product’s requirements help determine how the installation is planned.

How long will the installation take?

Timing depends on the size of the project, the flooring selected, removal and preparation, and the finishing work involved. We’ll discuss the expected schedule after reviewing the rooms and confirming the scope.

What should I have ready when I call?

Your location, the rooms you want to update, and any flooring ideas are a useful starting point. Mention existing floor concerns or past leaks as well. I’ll look at the space and take measurements when I visit.
